Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the BetterPost website, dashboard, API or MCP server you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: hello@betterpost.dev.
The service
BetterPost lets developers and AI agents create, schedule and track social media posts through one API. The service is currently a sandbox: posts are simulated and are not published to any social network. Live publishing may be added later, and these terms may be updated before it is.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in and API keys secret.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and keys. Tell us promptly if a key is exposed.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- send spam, deceptive, unlawful, harassing or infringing content;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, credit limits or security controls, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission;
- use the service to violate the terms of any social network once live publishing is available;
- use webhooks or media fetching to attack other systems.
We may suspend or limit accounts that break these rules.
Credits and plans
Publishing consumes credits as described on the pricing page and in the documentation. The free plan includes 20 credits per month. Credits are charged when a post is accepted and refunded when a target fails or a scheduled post is cancelled. Paid plans and payments are not available yet; prices and plan contents may change before they are.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you send. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it as needed to run the service (including sandbox preview pages) and, once live, to publish it where you direct. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you send.
Third-party networks
X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook are third-party services with their own terms, which apply to you when live publishing is used. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as a sandbox without any uptime commitment. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may reset sandbox data.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
Termination
You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the update.
